“ We eat there every day. Nice family style restaurant. Clean restrooms. They have several slot machines in a separate room. Large parking lot. They do catering for every event. They have a private dining area for party's or whatever reason you need a separate dining area. ”
“ The establishment that erected a month after I was born in 1972 has been a local establishment and staple of my hometown ever since I can remember. This place takes on a special meaning especially when you leave the state. This place consistently serves classic food quickly. Prices are low for the mountains of food you get. In my fifty years of coming here I've only really tried 8 menu items. Their double breaded cheeseburger is the hometown hero at this restaurant. No one else in the world makes these quite like Ziggies. This one sandwich is what the locals get alongside their French fries and gravy. This is a Mendota staple and institution. Tip well because the servers work hard to ensure your visit is the best ever ”

“ Great service awesome attention loved their coffee so fresh n delicious got the all meat omelette n toast and French fries omelette was so good n cheesy very well cooked n the toast was perfectly toasted as the fries ranch were delicious ate everything at an awesome price love these mom n pop restaurants nice rest stop to stretch your legs n great parking nice hometown feel. Even has a slot game room great to relieve some stress. ”

“ An authentic old school neighborhood family restaurant catering mainly to the local clientele. You seat yourself and it seemed everyone knew each other. Huge menu selection and prices are reasonable. Had 2 biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs. Biscuits were huge and fluffy. The gravy was very tasty. Also had the mushroom omelette with hash browns. Everything is made to order and served piping hot. Portions are huge. For a good home cooked tasting meal,Ziggies is the place to go. You might even enjoy the 70s decor..lol. ”
